Part I Role Responsibilities

Role Objective This role is primarily for Ruby on Rails developer, involves understanding of client requirements, able to utilize programming principles, tools, and techniques to build an application.

Principal Accountabilities Develop new applications or make enhancements according to the project needs

Develop technical and functional specifications for the projects.

Plan, coordinate and execute project activities to ensure timely completion.

 Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.

Prepare test cases and strategies for unit testing and integration testing.

Perform code reviews to identify basic technical and logical errors.

Resolve application development issues in a timely manner.

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing application.

Develop best practices to improve productivity.

Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.

Part II Role Requirements

Education • B. Tech./ MCA

Experience • 3+ Years

Primary Skills

 Should have good knowledge and experience in liquid language Shopify

• Good understanding of advanced concepts of ROR and RSPEC.

• Good understanding of front-end technologies like React, Redux, JavaScript.

• Good understanding of background processing gems like Sidekiq, Resque

• Good understanding of microservices architecture.

• Good understanding of concepts MVC, MVVM, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.• Good understanding of E-commerce applications flow and functionalities.

• Good knowledge of relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases(Mongodb).

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Good understanding of server-side templating languages like Haml or Slim.• Experience with meta programming.

• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.

• Deep understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions.

• Good understanding of full text search tools like Elasticsearch etc.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git

• Familiarity with Linux commands, testing tools, Jenkins, CI/CD and deployment tools/techniques.

• Basic understanding of infrastructure management and network monitoring tools like Newrelic and Datadog

• Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.

• Basic understanding of software distribution models like SAAS.
